'Similar to ' anime recommendations

In this new list, I will recommend similar anime to others, whether in terms of themes, atmosphere, context or even characters.

Akatsuki no Yona 🔁 Fena Pirate Princess

If you liked Yona and were desperate (like me) to find something similar, Fena can surely satisfy you. 

Although Yona is based on a historical setting in Asia, the characters, the atmosphere, the journey towards personal fulfillment, the romance as well as the action are very similar. 

Kaichou wa Maid-sama! 🔁 Kono Oto Tomare!

School, slice of life and comedy. Although the two anime have different main themes: Maid-sama revolves a lot around Misaki's work as Maid and Kono oto tomare revolves around traditional Japanese music.

But the overall mood and feel are very similar, especially regarding comedy / romance. Even if different themes are addressed, in my opinion this anime best transcribes the feelings I had while watching Maid-sama.

 Shirayuki-hime 🔁 Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu

The first time I watched Seijo, I thought of one thing: Shirayuki. The vibe, the characters, the colors, even the pharmaceutical abilities of the MCs are identical. There is a sweet, sincere and incredible romance in both.

Seijo has older, more mature people and has fantasy elements.

Blue spring ride 🔁 Skip to Loafer

The two animes are school romances with a rather extroverted MC and a rather introverted boy with secrets and family problems that he more or less hides, accompanied by a group of friends. 

Both give that feeling of freshness with a slow but cute romance.

Skip beat 🔁 Spicy Girl

Both have the same background in the world of performing arts, and  describe similar personalities with an MC who can be cynical and very ambitious, ready to do anything to achieve their goal. 

The two have a very present comedy and a relationship that can be considered as 'hate/love'. Spicy girl is a Chinese anime that is available on Youtube.

Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu 🔁 

Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita

These two anime appeared in 2023 and are extremely similar. They follow the trend of 'villainess MC' which is reincarnated in a work that is familiar to them. The context and the plot are exactly the same, the personalities of the characters almost identical. 

The difference is that Raeliana has a good chance of having a sequel while Akuyaku's story seems to have been adapted completely.

Hana yori dango 🔁 Peach girl

Both anime have love triangles and MCs that stand out for different reasons. There is also a considerable amount of drama and the subject of harassment which is also present in both. 

If you like one, you must like the other.
