Yona was a princess who lived a perfect life without knowing the reality and harshness of life outside the castle. A tragedy will radically open her eyes and change her life forever. Once a naïve princess, she will be thrown into this world she knew nothing about. You will be surprised to see the evolution of the heroine in this anime. The music is incredible and the characters original. This anime is my all time favorite, I think it has everything : the building romance, hilarious comedy, unexpected drama and more. We feel carried away in this world full of suspense, secrets but also dangers.

She will have to find out by herself. This anime is full of surprises. Every character has a background, deep personality and are all unique in their own way.

Anzu Hoshino's priorities are to play video games and take care of her cat. But one day, an atypical character comes to upset her daily life which she holds so dear. She then finds herself at the very center of a romantic simulation such as the games she loves. Anzu is initially not interested and will do everything to dodge this situation and return to her normal life. But after meeting the protagonists of this simulation, she may change her mind. This anime was produced by Netflix and was a real surprise to me. While it may seems very light, I can guarantee that you will be shocked at some point.

Episodes: 22 ( 2 seasons + a prequel ; there are also movies summarizing but i really recommend watching the series instead. The story is not the same, they changed the most important parts)

Chizuru is worried about the disappearance of her father and decides to go search for him. This without suspecting that she would be attacked on the way and saved by the Shisengumi. They will then decide to take her in, since they know her father and are in fact also looking for him. Many events will occur during Chizuru's journey with the Shinsengumi during which they will discover mysterious secrets and face battles against interesting characters. This anime is far from being idealistic and plays a lot with feelings. You will laugh, cry and be surprised. The OSTs are amazing and I still listen to them years after watching the anime.

• Koi to producer

Our main character inherits her late father's company and becomes a producer of a TV program. Unfortunately, the company is on the verge of bankruptcy and it must find ways to get it back on its feet. While trying to restore her popularity to the program, she will meet surprising people and face supernatural events that would suggest that everything is connected... This anime is originally a game and it is the very first Otome anime made by the MAPPA studio. I personally enjoyed seeing a new generation reverse harem. I would have appreciated that there were more episodes.

• Hiiro no kakera

Kasuga Tamaki visits her grandmother while her parents are away. But upon her arrival, she will face unexpected supernatural events. She will then meet a group of protective guardians who will be at her service. Our protagonist will then learn the truth about her family, her heritage, her incredible power but also the dangers and enemies that goes with them. This anime is touching, we see the evolution of relationships and characters at a realistic pace. The characters are unique and endearing. We are really carried away in this universe. Romance takes place naturally and is satisfying.

• Dance with devils

Tachibana Ritsuka lead a peaceful life with her mother, waiting for her brother to return from England, without suspecting the reality that surrounds her, a whimsical world full of demons, vampires, exorcists that may put her in danger for some reasons. This anime is highlighted by songs since it is in collaboration with a recording studio. The characters have very distinct personalities. It's a nice short and quite funny anime. The scenario is intriguing and makes us want to know what will happen.

• Kamigami no asobi

Yui Kusanagi is a very ordinary human until the day when she is transported to a different world where she will meet Zeus, the lord of the Gods, who will give her the order to integrate a very special school . The goal ? inculcate the basics of humanity and love for many gods such as Apollo, Hades and more. The protagonist of this reverse harem is one of the most appreciated because of her assertive character and who is not passive in the face of the situation. Although this anime references mythology, it doesn't recite real historical mythology so don't watch it literally .Apart from that, it's a funny anime with a nice scenario, very diverse characters, fantasy linked to the basics of Japanese animation.

• Magic kyun renaissance

The story takes place in a world where all forms of art are appreciated and are a kind of magic. Kohana Aigasaki joins a prestigious school to improve her floral art. But in her journey she will have to face several difficulties, the weight of pressure, competition and rivalry. This anime is really what you need if you are feeling sad and want to watch something colorful and cheerful although it has its share of deep subject matter. The fact that the MC faces a lot of challenges and questioning, without everything being easy for her or being privileged, makes her very relatable.

• La corda d'oro

Episodes: 28 ( + another season was made taking place 8 years after the events, with different characters)

Kahoko Hino, late, rushes to school. She will meet a funny character who will infuse her with an incredible musical talent which will confuse our protagonist since she has never had any particular talent. She then finds herself at the heart of musical competitions and surrounded by prodigies, who will not necessarily be very delighted with her presence. And even if it's not your style, this anime will make you discover the beauty of classical music. It's a beautifully neat anime and if you like musical works you should enjoy it. The music is still etched in my memory.

• Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge

Release date: 2006

Sunako prefers to be left alone following a trauma after a boy told her that she was ugly. Her aunt asks for help from a group of boys she knows in exchange for an all-expenses-paid accommodation. But if they fail they will have to pay an exponential sum. This anime is one of the funniest of its generation. It was praised for its lightness. No deep serious subject, no philosophical moral. A simple plot but carried out with originality and great humor. A romance that is not silly or exaggerated. Many people thought that this anime is a mixture of Ouran Host Club and Kimi no todoke.

• La storia della Arcana famiglia

Release date: 2012

The leader of the Arcana Famiglia, a mysterious organization that runs an island called Regalo, decides to retire. He must find a successor and for that he organizes a tournament to determine who is up to the expectations of a leader. The winner will also have the right to marry the protagonist, his daughter, Felicita. The settings of this anime are original since they are based on Italian culture, vocabulary and background. 

This anime is very refreshing because of its context and its graphics. It links an almost mafia context with the universe of tarot. Indeed, each character is linked to a mystical tarot card which attributes certain powers to him. The MC is cold in character and combative. She is not afraid to go to the front and fight. It's a short and cool anime to take your mind off things.
